LIFE3 Project Manager,
The British Library

Brian Hole joined the British Library in 2009 as the LIFE3 Project Manager, with overall responsibility for the project. Brian is part of the Digital Preservation team at the library whose role it is to provide strategic guidance and policy development in digital preservation.

Prior to joining the library, Brian worked on the e-journals platform at Elsevier, on business intelligence solutions at Business Objects, and in IT consultancy for Capita. He is currently also working towards a PhD in archaeology at UCL, where he is also involved in several e-journal projects.

LIFE (Life Cycle Information for E-Literature) is a funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) and Research Information Network (RIN) and is a collaboration between University College London (UCL) and the British Library
